The maximum weight limit for a tandem skydive is 18 stone fully clothed and you must also be relatively fit and healthy. However, anyone over 15 stone MUST call prior to booking for an assessment. Please note that your weight needs to be in proportion to height and we may also assess your BMI if you are over 15 stone. Weather conditions will also need to be suitable on the day of the jump, which may lead to delays on the day.
The minimum age to skydive in the UK is 16 and there is no upper age limit. Yes, we have taken people as young as 95 years old, so age is not an excuse. It is important that any person undertaking a skydive is fit to do so. All parachute centres in the UK are required to have a Declaration of Fitness for every person who jumps, in line with the requirements of the British Parachute Association. If you are lucky enough to be fit and healthy, and have not suffered from any of the medical conditions listed on the medical forms, you can self declare yourself as fit to jump using BPA Form 115A – Student Tandem Parachute Declaration Form. Having read BPA Form 115A, if you have doubts about your fitness to do a tandem jump, please print BPA Form (115B), and take it to your doctor for advice. Please note that The National Health Service does not provide this advice and you may be charged for it. You may also have to pay for any additional tests or referrals needed to clarify your risk.
Once you are booked in, you will automatically become bound by the terms and conditions of the parachute centre. If you would like to have your skydive filmed, you can either book in advance, or book on the day of your skydive by cash or card, however all deposits and payments are non-refundable. For full terms and conditions, please see our T&Cs in the footer.
