Get Your Blood Pumpin' - Face your fears!

Imagine sitting at the edge of an open doorway in an aircraft flying at 10,000 feet - the noise of the engines and the wind ringing in your ears with only the outline of distant fields and and the stunning Durham Heritage Coastline below. Now imagine leaning forward out of that doorway and letting go - falling forward into the blue sky, skydiving down through the air as you start freefalling up to 120mph! Adrenaline pulsing through your body as you gain a sense of pure freedom!

Well you can stop imagining. We’re here to make it real! You will be safely attached to a British Parachute Association qualified Tandem Instructor, so you can sit back and enjoy the ride.

Why choose to do a tandem skydive?

Tandem Skydives cost £250! A tandem skydive is the easiest quickest way to experience free fall. Free fall being the bit most people love. Imagine the sensation, your brain is telling you that you're falling, you can feel you're falling, but to you, it feels more like you're flying...

Ask someone to describe what a skydive feels like and usually they will struggle to explain it, other than tell you that it was a once in a lifetime experience. Tandem skydiving is also open to pretty much anyone, and furthermore you don't have to do any of the work as your instructor does it all for you, that means not only do you get a worry free thrill ride, but you get to enjoy the scenic ride of the canopy back down to earth.

There are however a few small restrictions; you must be in a resonably fit state of health and be under 16 stone (101kg). It is important that any person undertaking a skydive is fit to do so. Anyone taking part in a skydive is required to have a Declaration of Fitness, in line with the requirements of the British Parachute Association. If you do not meet the requirments of Form-115A-Student-Tandem-Medical-Self-Declaration-Issue-3-Jul-2017, you will need to take Form-115B-Student-Tandem-Doctors-Certificate to your GP to sign and stamp, just to say you're all okay to jump with us. The minimum age to skydive is 16 and there is no upper age limit, in fact just recently a 95 year old safely completed a tandem skydive at the Durham airfield (so there is no excuse Grandad).
