Just a £50 Deposit Required Then Skydive For Free

On Saturday 13th July 2019, we will be helping Lollipop hold a sponsored skydive event in Durham. Lollipop offer support to children and young people aged 0-25 in York and North Yorkshire who have any degree of deafness from mild to profound. We are asking for dare-devil thrill seekers to help Lollipop continue their amazing work by taking part in the Lollidrop Skydive Challenge to raise much needed funds for Lollipop.  To take part, all you need to do is pay a £50 booking deposit and then raise £395. Once you have reached this target, you will be allowed to use 50% of the funds raised to cover the balance of your skydive and the rest, plus every penny raised above £395, will go to Lollipop. To take part, please fill in the registration form at the bottom of this page and then click below to pay your £50 deposit.

Many of Lollipop’s activities involve the whole family and provide opportunities for parents and carers to socialise and meet other families and professionals working with children and young people with deafness. The maximum weight limit is 15.5 stone fully clothed and you must also be relatively fit and healthy. Please note that your weight needs to be in proportion to height and conditins need to be suitable on the day of the jump, which may lead to delays on the day. If you are heavier than 15 stone then please contact us for an assessment.
The minimum age to skydive in the UK is 16 and there is no upper age limit. Yes, we have taken people as young as 95 years old, so age is not an excuse. It is important that any person undertaking a skydive is fit to do so. All parachute centres in the UK are required to have a Declaration of Fitness for every person who jumps, in line with the requirements of the British Parachute Association. If you are lucky enough to be fit and healthy, and have not suffered from any of the medical conditions listed on the medical forms, you can self declare yourself as fit to jump using BPA Form 115A – Student Tandem Parachute Declaration Form. Having read BPA Form 115A, if you have doubts about your fitness to do a tandem jump, please print BPA Form (115B), and take it to your doctor for advice. Please note that The National Health Service does not provide this advice and you may be charged for it. You may also have to pay for any additional tests or referrals needed to clarify your risk.
If you would like to jump at the Durham based parachute centre, during February and March you can choose to jump on Fridays-Sundays. From April onwards you can jump on Wednesdays-Sundays. If you would like to jump at the East-Yorkshire based parachute centre, you can jump from January to December on Fridays-Sundays. Please call us on 0191-369-2468 to check availability.
